Help me with a FM2011 check-list

I haven't installed FM since 2009 and being in my 30's now my memory isn't great so i cant remember what i had to download/add/delete etc to get a near on realistic game (am talking cosmetic here)

Anyway, thought it would be good to get a check-list of things to do, for when FM2011 drops on my doormat in just over 2 weeks time, things like files i will need to delete, packs i should add on, badges/logos i should get

Anyone ITK bout this?!

Logos, Kits, Faces, Skin, Real competition name file.

Just get a megapack for all of them.

Megapacks are the way to go. Amazing the work that goes into some of them. I had every badge for every single club in the database with just the one download for FM10

Couple of questions re: these packs

1. If i start a game first, and then download a pack, will what I've downloaded (i.e badges etc) appear in my existing save?

2. How soon do these packs tend to appear (obviously if the answer to the above is yes, then it is irrelevant)

2. You can use the FM10 packs. Probably people will just update the 10 packs with the new players and clubs etc.

Anyone recommend the best pack to download?

you can use the fm10 packs? I wasnt aware, saves me downloading new ones! Im assuming you just copy them over to the fm11 folder when its installed?

only thing i dl is a skin not really fussed about badges and stuff and wether or not my regen has earings and spiky hair.

As far as I know that will work fine.

Don't forget German national team, Team holland fixes etc. (although we can't discuss on here)

Real competion names did that IIRC.

I've made a logo pack for the Premiership for FM11. Since the Premier League isn't licensed, there are none of the Premier League clubs have there logos in the game. It's in the Skinning Hideout by the way.

I am assuming that all the Id's are the same every year? And all the logos are the same sizes etc as years before?

Yes, it's being confirmed that everything to do with with logos, 2d kits and player faces are the same in FM11 as in FM10.

do you make kits too? Would you make me a custom one if i asked nicely (i am playing a save in 11 with a made up team and have designed their kit on paper..)

Might be off topic but has it been confirmed that German and other national teams won't be in again for 2011 ?

i believe so, the 3 teams in question all have the same licensing issues as previous years

im using the logos for fm09 in fm10 and all is well so i'll prob use them for fm11 too.
