roganp
Into my second season with Darlington and I've just gone to see if I'm on the favoured personnel list after getting them promoted to league 1 and I was surprised to see my on loan striker Reuben Reid on the list after just 5 games and 4 goals. I thought it may be because he might have scored against one of there biggest rivals but we haven't played any yet so I'm a bit confused that he is on it after 5 games and I'm not after 60 games and a promotion anyone have any ideas at while this maybe? Deisler26
I had a guy make the Favoured Personnel list after two games! He scored the winner to beat AC Milan 1-0 and then scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Siena that saved us from relegation by a goal...
Swindon69
Bah - I had a number of seasons with Sestao took them from the 3rd tier to the top flight and into Europe and never got on the list.
nev147
Yeah - as I have seen before - a few people have had a problem with this feature. Lets hope it is tweaked for FM11!
Misodoctakleidist
I had a player get on the favoured personnel after five games, but he did score 16 goals so that's understandable.
Wiitastic
I've previously had 1 guy who had played 2 substitute appearances all season which was quite weird, He had scored 0 goals also
Bruce Drundrige
Going on real life experiences, it's certainly perfectly reasonable to find a situation where a manager gets a team promoted or a modicum of success but then isn't necessarily liked or adored by the fans. A player having an immediate impact after signing however - perhaps for a team with no real scoring stars and then a new guy appears and starts banging them in - is surely likely to be a candidate for this though? Assuming he keeps scoring of course... Swindon69's situation however indicates that no the system isn't perfect because you would assume that manager would become a bit of a legend. Unless the fans felt that the manager just wasn't like-able at all...but that hardly sounds like Swindon69
j4ck94
It takes absolutely ages for me as a manager to get on the favoured personel list, but a player that I signed and only played like 2-5 games for the club gets on there instantly... -_-
Chochip
yeah definitely manager is harder to be liked than players by club fans in FM. But that's all part of the challenge. I found that if you sell favoured players your popularity goes down a bit.
GioGio85
In FM09, Ben Ainwick got onto Spurs' favourrite personnal list after 1 game when he got an '8' rating. He must have had an inspired after match interview!!
