FM Release date is my new Christmas day

As i am an adult i no longer get really really excited about Christmas. You know when you cant sleep your so excited. However. I now feel this way about the release of FM. Im counting down the days and booking holiday for its release.

:(Similar thing for me........except i get excited about xmas too, more so about being with family tho, this year I have to wait till xmas for FM

I love Christmas but don't get that excited no more. I dont get excited for FM really. Obviously I love it when it comes out as its usually one of the only games I enjoy playing now. Most of the games I buy now are rubbish.

Well seeing as there is already a thread about the release date, why would we need another one. And really this isnt even about the release date. Its about somebody comparing being excited about christmas day to being excited about the release of FM11. Something which isnt neeed for the GD forum. By all means put it in the FM11 release date thread but no need to make another one.

I can't either wait for the release day of FM but PES/FIFA are released earlier so I'm counting the days for them

At least on November 5 (hopefully sooner ) I will be opening a package that I know I want, rather than a pair of socks from my nan

there are different things, but i think the same: the three most exciting dates in a year are my anniversary with my girlfriend, FM release date and Christmas. This year, for me, was also the day of the champions league final.

For me, the feeling of anticiapation of the next FM is currently a lot more excessive than the feeling evoked by Xmas

How many hours in to release day will the excitement turn in to threads of "This is FM10 polished and cost me £30"...."Not happy SI"...."Whose going back to playing FM10?" and "When's the patch out??"

Every year!! I'll give it 12 hours.

And after too many years...this time I'm waiting for you lot to test it properly and give me a shout at the 2nd patch, or 3rd to go ahead and buy.

Loving my long-term FM10 save too much to be mugged again in the autumn.

And every year, I struggle to see why so many people knee-jerk.

Oh to be like me, so easily pleased. Will someone please think of the children?

I would normally be counting down the days to the arrival of a new FM, but GT5 is released a couple of days before FM (or so they say!) so I'm more excited about that at the minute.

Bring on FM11! Oh, and when's the patch out?

I'm really looking forward to FM11. I only started playing FM10 recently, so the FM series is still all fresh and new to me. I'm loving FM10, and I'm sure I'll love FM11 even more.

So negative! I had a great save on FM2010 as it was out of the box...fingers cross the same for FM11

my xmas day is on january 2nd when i get 6 weeks off on paid holiday because the place where i work is closed for matinence. no prizes for guessing what im doing with my time off

I know how you feel ! I will ask my Boss (Mr Ebeneezer) for a half day off so I can play it - wish me luck with that one :-)
