Training facility status

I think "State of the art" is the highest rank, correct?

Here is the last 3 year's story:

3 seasons ago, I requested an upgrade on both training and youth facilities. They did, and it cost 1.2M. Upgrade was Average->Good

Next season, I made a request again, they upgraded them Good->Top. Cost about 700K

And this season, I had a tycoon takeover. Immediately after the takeover, board informed me of an upgrade of both facilities, costing 14M.

Upgrade is completed and facility status is still "Top", after 14M.

Anyone knows why? Is the gap between "Top" and "Excellent" that huge?

id imagine that alot more equipment, better facilites etc would cost alot more, also may be a bigger facility?

The facilities might have downgraded, which they do on their own after an extended period of time. I wouldn't have thought this would happen after only one season though.

Lot's of mystery around finances. Which gets me too. Like why does the main sponsor pay less and less every year despite winning the league 5 times in a row?

Facilities can't always be updated, and sometimes need starting again - as you had a tycoon, he probably wanted a whole new thing.

But the message clearly says "Upgraded".

Maybe, because he had the money, the builders decided to take advantage?

Training facilities & Corporate Facilities - - > Top

These are the highest.

I think this should be addressed in the next game, and as people have said when the facilities get worn down and have to be re-upgraded to their previous standard then as manager we should get a news item about it, instead of just finding out and guessing what happened.

Much more open-ness about the quality of the facilities and if a new owner wants to completely change things we should get a news item saying that too!

Then the terms used to describe each facility should be 'best in the country' etc. so that it is obvious for us who aren't sure about the heirachy of descriptions which comes with them now-a-days.
