When to transfer?

Am currently overloaded with strikers and want to offload one in particular. Should I put him on the list now or wait until nearer the january window? Will the timing have any affect on whether teams come in for him bearing in mind he won't be able to move until january anyway

Set your price now, and offer him to clubs without transfer listing him yet. See if you get anyone interested.

If you don't intend on playing him at all and if he isnt influential then I would offer him out now and get the transfer arranged.

If you want him to remain happy, get some games under his belt and maybe increase his price a little, then wait until January.

Had interest from about 6 clubs but think I set the transfer value too low. Should I reject them all and up the price and try again or take what is being offered safe in the knowledge a deal can be done

I think I would reject and ask for a bit less than double his value. If anyone offers fine otherwise offer him for the lower price again. Pretty sure someone will offer.

I'd place him on the transfer list now and make sure he's getting games in the first team. If he's banging in goals while on the list this should increase intrest so you can offer him to clubs and get the deal done for when the transfer window next opens.
