Scouts finding loan players?

Is there any way to assign my scouts to just find loan listed players?

Would be easier just to filter the loan players in the main search screen - the scout the ones you want.

I'm playing Dafuge's challenge, so not sure if that'd be allowed.

You can use your assistant and ask him to look for loan players for a certain position.

Under assistant advice from your team screen.

It doesn't work. I've asked my Assistant Manager for every position, but he's found nothing. Surely there's someone available in at least one playing position...

Players are usually pretty reluctant to come to a part-time club on loan, especially one in the BSS.

I agree that it should be possible to specifically send your scouts out to look for players that will come to you on loan.

At low levels, geography plays a part as to where players are willing to go on loan so check nearby clubs at the League 1/2 level to see if they have anyone they might share with you.

Thanks for the advise pelicanstuff. I'll look into clubs in League 1 and 2 and see what I can find.

Stockport, Oldham, Macclesfield, Rochdale, Accrington are the obvious places I would look. Maybe even Altrincham if they have anyone decent.

Don't always trust your assistant - especially at a low level he's not likely to be superman. Always worth having a look at the players yourself, see who is a hot prospect, who is listed for loan....

Uncheck the "unrealistic targets" filter, find a youngster not listed for loan, make an offer: loan, no fee, 0% wages. See if they accept. A bit tedious but worthwhile.

If I get a loan report for a team, do I have to do a seperate one for first team, reserves, and youth or does the one loan report cover all three?

The player search screen is fine, there's no rules saying you can't use it.
