Who did you take to World Cup Glory?

I landed Cameroon job few months before World Cup 2014 in Brazil.

Was in same group as Germany, Switzerland and Iran

Got of to a slow start

1-1 vs Switzerland

1-1 vs Iran

Had to win my last game to qualify

Beat the Germans 1-0 after being awarded a penalty in 84th min!

Beat Chile in 2nd round 2-0

Then beat Croatia in Quarters 1-0

In Semis I had to face Spain, got rewarded a penalty in 78th minute only to have it missed.

Beat Spain finally on penalties 4-2

In final I had to face Portugal. I defeated them 1-0.

The win got my into Hall of Fame in Africa

Eto got his 100th Cap.

I decided to leave Cameroon after winning the biggest trophy.

A lot of nations sacked their coaches and I applied for England,, Italy, Spain and Serbia in order to lead them in Euro Championship but they all declined.

Strange due to the fact that I just won World Cup with an African Nation..

Not sure if you can say glory but i took Nigeria to the world cup final in 2026 lost to England in the final 2-0

Strangely in one of my old saves I noticed Scotland won the 2014 World cup on their own, quite surprising that they qualified let alone won it TBH

Spain, Argentina and England in my current save, not very impressive compared to Cameroon and Scotland!

I achieved semi-final with Poland and final with Bosnia now I'll try to win WC with Brazil, it should be easy

Best I've managed is 3rd with Ghana iirc.

I won it with Northern Ireland in 2030, though it did require about 10 years of buying young Irish players with Newcastle and playing them loads to maximise their potential.

Ive only ever won it with Spain.

Past saves have seen me reach the final with Cameroon, the quarter finals with South Aftrica and the final with England (which really annoyed me lol). I tend to get a tad bored of international football though.

i won it with senegal once on FM09, only down to an amazing regen, Karamoko Kone, one of the best players ive ever had on any fm. still don't know how i won it though the rest of my team was pretty good, but didnt seem good enough lol

I won the World Cup with the Ivory Coast.

Had a group of death (with Spain iirc) and drew Brazil in the Round of 16.

The rest was pretty easy though.

Won it with Slovakia in 2014, they seem to generate a lot of good defensive players in my games

No one as of yet, i've not even managed one National Team on FM10 yet.

I've had offers from a few, including Ghana who have approached me 3 times on the same save! (2013,2015 and 2018)

I'm not really intrested in taking over a National team, i'm more concerned about trying to win the Premier League with Bournemouth.

But if England or Brazil offer me the job then i think i will take it. (And maybe Spain too)

I took Scotland to the WC Final in 2014. Didn't qualify for 2010 or the Euro's of 2012 but managed to qualify for 2014. At the actual tournament, I rode my luck big time. Can't remember the order of the teams I played but I know Brazil, Germany, Italy all fell to me in the knockout stages. I lost 2-0 to Croatia in the final /o\. Haven't won the World Cup since FM06.

I went on to manage West Brom and am now France manager at the same time.

just qualifying for a major tournament with wales will have the same feeling.

I managed Brazil to confederation cup glory in 2033 and to world cup glory in 2034

resigned after that,as managing a Nation doesn't hold my imagination for long.
