Hershie
Define great. If you're looking for teams which have good squads, are financially secure etc then maybe Spurs, Villarreal, Genoa..
AcidBurn
Genoa, Sunderland, Crewe, Villarreal, Valencia, Shakhtar, CSKA Moscow, Santos, Benfica. You need to be more clear really.
StevoRobbo
Deportivo Wanka. Or you could do a search in the Good Player and Team Guide forum and look for the 'What Team Should I Be' thread. Plenty of suggestions in there.
AndyRich
For teams in good financial situations in top divisions, you will be looking at Tottenham, Man City (obviously), Birmingham, Genoa, Valencia, Sevilla, Palermo, Parma, Udinese etc etc For teams in good financial situations from lower divisions, QPR, Reading, Burnley, Hull, Plymouth, Sheffield Wednesday, Southampton, Peterborough, Notts Co Some good suggestions right there

ronaldo_rooney
Valencia are not in a good financial position despite selling Villa and Silva. They are in the game...and even better, they still have silva and Villa
StevoRobbo
They are in the game...and even better, they still have silva and Villa Well thats a big fault on SI's part then.
aderow
Well thats a big fault on SI's part then. I'm pretty sure that Villa and Silva were sold after 10.3 was released....
ronaldo_rooney
Well thats a big fault on SI's part then. I don't know, it depends what you believe. Their president had always insisted that they didn't need to sell either of them and I think they both just wanted to move onto bigger and better things. StevoRobbo
I'm pretty sure that Villa and Silva were sold after 10.3 was released.... Yes your clever Im talking about them being a wealthy team when they are not.
Hershie
They aren't a wealthy team in game. They start off with a decent amount of money but then have to repay a crippling loan.
charlo116
I've actually really been enjoying an A.C. Milan save, i've always liked managing in italy and despite having an old squad they still have some amazing players.
Hershie
btw, I'd suggest Villarreal. 5 games from winning La Liga with them in the first season.
Highor
Sunderland, Shaktar, Lyon, Ajax
kvbrock82
huddersfield! Young team with good players, enough cash to survive.. a nice challenge and great fun climbing to the premiership, then avoiding relegation battle.. searching for those magic free transfers and bargains that could really give your team a boost. Loved every second.
Dar2000
I really enjoyed starting with Everton. Very good squad, avg age prob around 26,27. Financially they are not great but it is a very enjoyable challenge to keep the squad filled with quality while balancing the books
