Have they stopped spending inane amounts of money on anyone's game, or are they happily still splashing the cash? I've been trying to build up a good English side for years (now in 2030), and their manager is a master of unsettling my players. I'm constantly having to trick them into signing 5 year deals. Just this week I was persuaded to sell my solid but unspectacular English right-back for £42m, and replace him with a younger, better Brazillian for £15m. I'm just curious as to whether there's likely to be a point that they'll stop rebuilding for huge fees, and finally suffer for the huge wages as well - their top 5 earners are on £215k, £195k, £190k, £185k and £170k per week :O *Useful trivia - the last three players I sold to City had a combined value of £111m.
