I,m managing Stockport in Div 1 and i am in mid Jan and through to the Northern final of the Johnson Paints and we are in the top 3 of the league jostling for top spot. The final is scheduled to be played on the Wed but is postponed due to water logged pitch and rearranged for the Fri. The match goes ahead but then we have to play again the day after on the Sat with tired players or second string and obviously we lose. This would just not happen. Sat match would normally be postponed. Also we have 8-9 players on international call up at various levels and league matches do not get called off as in other thread. Where is the realism.
