How Many Leagues Should I Run?

Hi, im going to start a new game on Football Manager 2008, but im not sure how many leagues I should run?

Only thing I know is that I have 512MB RAM, I usually just play on a large database with all english leagues running, but I now want to get some more leagues running aswell.

How many leagues would you guys say I should run?

REMEMBER IM PLAYING FOOTBALL MANAGER 2008!!

imho you should be able to run 10-15 leagues without too much problems

Get more ram. Its not that expensive and is pretty easy to fit yourself. I'd suggest a minimum of 2GB.

Would you say 15 leagues will be fine with my current amount of ram?

Every man has different tolerance for waiting, therefore there is no definite answer. I'd say no, 15 is too many. Try with 5 and if it is ok for you restart with 10, just holiday into the season and play 4 matches.

This game needs more multithreading optimization.

Yes it should be ok although possibly a bit slow. One thing I would suggest is you download something called gamebooster first. This will temporarily stop any processes that are running in the background that your computer really doesn't need to work ok so freeing up some more memory.
