jod123 Posted August 21, 2010 Share Posted August 21, 2010 I haven't used that feature but I would be pretty sure you would not lose any files as defragging only means putting files in a certain order on your hard disk to make the access time quicker. It really depends on how much of that memory is being used on unnecessary background processes. Gamebooster just shuts these down to free up that memory. I have 4gb ram in my computer although only 3.2 is available to be because of the limitations of using a 32bit OS and I use gamebooster because I thought it would help since I am using 25 leagues.
