Just happened in a match. My left winger had two goals, ref. awarded us a penalty, and he used it. He is nowhere in the penalty takers list.

I was drawing 2-2 83 minutes gone. My striker had 2 goals and we were awarded a penalty. My striker went up to take it to my disappointment, his pen taking stat was 7 while the best in my club was 18.

Sadly the game ended in a 2-2. It was quite irritating.

I found myself at the wrong end of the penalty-taking choices!!

Last game of the season. My striker needed one goal to break the club record for goals in one season.

I made him my penalty taker for the game.

Unfortunately my centre-mid had scored two goals already in the game, and he took a late penalty :/ Denied. Should have substituted the bleeder, with hindsight...

It isn't guaranteed to happen, but it often does.

This happens, much to my annoyance.

Happened to me when winning 3-1 and the player (David Ball - Man City youth player) missed for his hat-trick. We clung on to win 3-2. Nice touch but his penalty stats weren't all that great, and I think it should probably be limited to players who've already scored 2 goals AND have a reasonable penalty stat.

This is a nice addition BUT you should be told in advance and given the option to agree or stick withn the regular taker.

I've had this with a youth player. He scored the penalty (stat was about 11 I think) and his penalty taking increased after the game.

I've had this with player, who actually missed TWO penalties having already scored twice!

When we actually managed to get a THIRD penalty in the match, my regular penalty taker took over and scored it.

It happened in this match (which I posted earlier) at 2-1, I don't think it is quite as simple as just being 2-0 up.

^ Granted, that was essentially the final kick of the match...nice touch by SI, though!

This also happened to me. The muppet missed. Thankfully we won regardless.
