Moving my game on...

Recommended Posts

Changing laptops later this week as my CD drive is shot.

Do I simply stick the FM folders on a memory stick and move them over to the new laptop? Will I be able to use the same product key again on my second laptop, I assume not?

Will I be able to continue my saved game?

Cheers Lads

1 - Save your Saved Games, Graphics, Tactics, Skins etc to a memory stick.

2 - Install the game in the normal manner on your new laptop.

3 - Transfer your saved games, graphics, tactics etc to the new folders created. Usually (Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2010).

4 - Make sure that the game is patched to the same level of your saved games otherwise you may find they do not load correctly.

Hope this helps

CD version. I assumed the product key is to stop people using the CD on multiple PCs but I guess you need the CD in the drive.

On a seperate note I ordered this laptop, what do you reckon? Sony VAIO VPCEB2M0E 15.5" Screen notebook, Intel Core i3-350M Processor, 4GB, 320GB, BT, WLAN, Windows 7 Home Premium
