Lumitchski
Changing laptops later this week as my CD drive is shot. Do I simply stick the FM folders on a memory stick and move them over to the new laptop? Will I be able to use the same product key again on my second laptop, I assume not? Will I be able to continue my saved game? Cheers Lads
TheGulls
1 - Save your Saved Games, Graphics, Tactics, Skins etc to a memory stick. 2 - Install the game in the normal manner on your new laptop. 3 - Transfer your saved games, graphics, tactics etc to the new folders created. Usually (Documents/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2010). 4 - Make sure that the game is patched to the same level of your saved games otherwise you may find they do not load correctly. Hope this helps
Lumitchski
That's great mate. Will I need a new product code when installing?
TheGulls
You shouldn't do, Is it a CD version or via steam ? Either way there should be no issues with installing.
Lumitchski
CD version. I assumed the product key is to stop people using the CD on multiple PCs but I guess you need the CD in the drive. On a seperate note I ordered this laptop, what do you reckon? Sony VAIO VPCEB2M0E 15.5" Screen notebook, Intel Core i3-350M Processor, 4GB, 320GB, BT, WLAN, Windows 7 Home Premium

Lumitchski
Guys, I moved my stuff over, patched 10.3 but cannot open my personal folder in the editor... I saved it in the same place as on my old laptop, it is an option for a new game but not when I try to access it via the editor? Any ideas?
