marcysaint Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 Hello All, I seem to have encountered a strange error during the game. I have recently purchased a MacBook and therefore used my old copy of FM 2010 which was originally installed on my old PC. I started a new game as you would normally do and Have played half way through my first season right up to January 3rd. It then saves the game and then goes to the title screen saying " Thank you for playing Football Manager 2010, You must now activate your copy to continue playing" It is like playing the Demo of the game up until January then it won't allow me to play anymore. I have paid for the game once already and dont want to have to buy a new copy just because i have bought a new computer! Any help and advice from anyone would be of great help guys, thanks. Neji Posted August 10, 2010 Share Posted August 10, 2010 In that case, I would re-download 10.3 and install it again. Make sure you get the boxed version of the patch, you can get it from the link below. Use the button labelled 'Download Patch 10.3.0 (Mac)'. It may be worth uninstalling it and clearing out prefs etc from - User > Library > Caches - User > Library > Logs - User > Library > Preferences to make sure it's a clean install.
