Anyone have a powercut whilst saving game

It's truly the most unluckiest thing that could ever happen to you... if you forgot to enable a rolling save. That's what i'm going to do now and hopefully next time i won't lose so much. Has this ever happened to you ?

Nope. I always use a 3 save weekly rolling autosave.

This is one of the few advantages with playing on a laptop. Playing FM is one of the few things I can still do when there's a power cut.

No, but wouldn't matter anyway as i back up my save on a regular basis.

I thought I did the auto save and rolling save is enabled :S it's working now but it didn't at all the entire season when the powercut happened

Rolling autosave... always.

Where I live in Spain, the power trips for a second or two at least twice a day and usually always whilst i'm in the midst of doing something on my PC.

So for that reason, I also now have my base unit plugged into a battery backup and surge protector.

I cannot remember a powercut happening when saving a game. In 2007 we had a powercut whilst I was playing a game and also sometimes my PC used to shut down automatic as well (from overheating) and for updates.

I had a powercut a few minutes away from winning my first ever trophy on FM (06 I think) after managing to hold on to my 1-0 lead all game. Wasn't impressed at all!
