I don't get it. For a year, Wanderley from Cruziero was set to join my Roma team on 1.2.2011. When the date comes the transfer is cancelled because I have already bought 2 non_EU players. But isn't 2011 a new year? I thought it had reserved that time for him to come in in order to obey the rule. Now he can't come??

This. And the rule only concerns non-EU players form foreign countries. You can sign as many Africans, Brazilians etc. from other Italian teams as you like. From this summer on the amount has been reduced from 2 to 1.

Ah, I had no idea about the rule not applying to inter-club transfers in Italy. That explains why some of my transfers went through...
