I think (but don't quote me) that you get something like £30m for the lowest expectation. Although I got it increased to just over £90m some time between the end of August and start of January. But that was after I had already bought someone for £20m.

I don't know if it's the same for everyone, but I would say that you get a first season transfer budget of £100m+

From the best of my memory I think you get £72 million if you set your expectation as title challenger and £78 million if you set it as Winners. However you can then change your budger around to move some money from the wage budget to the transfer budget and you can end up with roughly £126 million to spend.
