scoot4nat
I was under the impression that if a player has two goals and you get a penalty he automatically gets the chance for a hat-trick. And I've seen it quite often in my game. However in my last match I was drawning 3-3, my striker gettign two goals. I get a penalty in the last in injury time. Up steps my left back and regular penalty taker. So it doesn;t seem to happen all time - perhaps only in the instance of a last gasp penalty.
Ryknow
I think this only happens when the team are ahead with a comfortable lead. Being 3-3 your most composed penalty taker took leadership and hopefully won the game. Kind of like when Lampard took the penalty in the last game of the season because he knew they had to win, meanwhile Drogs was whinging because he wanted golden boot. Alan A Wadge
seconded! I would be fuming if that happens to me and the player on a hat trick decides he wants to take the spot kick. If I'm winning all well and good; drawing or loosing... no way!
