steam help

Ok so me and my mate both want to play fm, i have steam with fm on and he doesn't. If he logs into mine and I log into mine can we play online together? we both managed to get the game on but it keeps saying unable to connect to server?

Doubt it, I would imagine sharing steam accounts is against Steams T&S's (and no doubt SI's too)

Surprised Steam does not host a multi player service like Gamespy etc.

no you cant i dont think. if you both want to play online, i would suggest you both getting hamachi. then one of you needs to go to preferences and tick run as server. and you both need to untick move matches for tv. when you both have hamachi the person who is going to run as server will create a new server thing it should come up. then you create it with a name and password and tell your mate. your mate then joins uses the code and joins. you then set up the game and he then clicks on the hamachi thing and it comes up with code thing(im not to sure on this part as i was the server and my mate joined). he then copies the number goes to the start screen of fm and he ten clicks join fm and pastes it and then it should ask for the password and then he should join.
