Managin in Spain - how to get B team into lower division?

I'm managing Cordoba who start out in Spain's Liga Adelante. Their B team, however, are not in any of the lower divisions. Now I am already 9 seasons into the career and have been in La Liga for 8 of those seasons, however, my B team is still nowhere to be seen in the lower divisions. How can I get them promoted to one of the lower divisions? Is this something that simply happens randomly? Do I need to have players in the B team in order for them to be promoted?

your B team is most likely in a division lower than the Tercera División. Basically the secunda is made up of 80 teams (4*20) then the top 4 from each all play off to get into Liga Adelante.

Or it may be a bit of a bug as the game hasnt recognised that as you are now in Liga BBVA your 'B' side should be eligable to compete through the minor leagues.
