Why is it.....

The times your opponent scores a goal which should clearly be disallowed are the only times a 'controversial' goal never gets mentioned in the post match press conferences??!

Russia just scored a goal against my Ukraine side where the goalscorer was a good yard offside when the ball was played. I wanted a chance to slag off the referee without fear of being punished, especially bearing in mind the rivalry between the countries. Did it get mentioned? Did it heck.........

Why is it? Selective memory.

Not at all. All of the clear injustices have not been mentioned in my game. All the ones that do get a mention are so close that it's often hard to tell.

Wouldn't normally comment on this but in my last match I had a header from a corner wrongly dissallowed (the commentary said very harsh decision, nothing wrong with the goal) but later on in the same game I scored a goal which, after pausing the game at the exact moment the ball was passed, I saw was (just) offside. Neither was mentioned post-match, so it's not just close calls, obvious one don't get mentioned either!

ive never noticed this on my game, i think way too many goals are considered controversial, but as for being mentioned post match it tends to just be the team that loses.
