Try pressing the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.

- CTRL+F9 (or is it ALT+F9....)

- Find it in My Documents > Sports Interactive > FM10 > Screenshots

- Upload to Photobucket or similar

- Post here using "Insert image"

My directions should work perfectly. Assuming you're on a PC rather than a Mac.

for some reason everytime I get to paint to paste it, the desktop appears instead of the shot I took in game.

Change to windowed mode. I had same problem. Needs to be windowed mate.

FM -> Preferences -> Display & Sound

that makes sense. I have to hit Ctrl Alt Del to get to the desktop. That probably messes it up.

just try Alt+Tab or press the windows key, that should work better than pulling up the task manager.

How far do you get?

i print screen on steven whittaker and i then press ctrl, alt, delete and i then click paste on paint but it comes up with the screen of the thread. like this one. so i tried the windows thing, and every thing on here and its not working.

Try the way SWaRFeGa suggested. You don't need to use paint then as your screenshot should automatically be saved in My Documents\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2010\screenshots.

No you don't.

Once you go to any screen in the game all you should need to do is press Alt + F9.

After you do that a file should be created in the location I specified above. Are you sure it is not there?

its not there but ive been pressing print screen instead of alt+f9. could that be why.

Yeah, try pressing Alt + F9 instead.

One method is using the print screen button and the other is using Alt + F9 so try that.

it doesnt matter now ive given up on being rangers as i got bored.
