Microlite
Just wondering if they can change...say norway have 1 spot for the champions league from their top league and the team that qualifies does extremly well and says reaches the quarters or semis, can the qualification places change so that norway can get 2 spots in the champions league? dafuge
Yes, I'm pretty certain they can. Takes a while though.
robzilla
Yes as I understand the number of places is calculated using the UEFA co-efficients. As these can change, in theory the number of places can also change.
Krald
I thought the changign wasn't calculated, however I've seen the SPL have 4 teams in the champions league one season, and I can't think of any other reason for that.

It is calculated so in the game Wales could theoretically end up with TNS, Llanelli, Rhyl and Bangor City in the Champions League.
