i tell my teams not to let performance drop as pleased seems to de-motivate them

it's not that easy but i normally use 'don't let performance drop' mixed with 'have faith' for those who played ok (7-7.5). but really, if you put yourself in the shoes of the players then you'd understand that scoring another six goals in the 2nd half wouldn't matter as much as saving your energy and doing just enough to avoid conceding goals. simply put, there isn't much that your team talks can do to convince the players to score that many goals again in the 2nd half.

i say i am thrilled you have to let the players know how happy you are to me it helps them relax and play even better:thup:
