I want to start a new campaign with either Hibernian or Rangers in the SPL but it says that I must have at least 3 home grown club players in all my match day squads. Is there any way I can get round this ?!

It's the rules, buddy. Not exactly hard to abide by is it? I can't see it stopping you starting a new game

most of the scottish teams have homegrown players that are quality enough ffor your teams so dont worry about.

Rangers have: Danny Wilson, John Fleck, Boyd, Miller and hibernian have enough.

yeah you should easily manage to fill your match day squad with homegrown players there is a lot of quality players with the clubs and there youth teams. Aberdeen have some exceptional ones then again I may being slightly biased with that opinion

Only way is by recreating the league with the editor and putting the rules you want it in and removing the rules you don't like.

Yeah that rule does exist but as you stated yourself it is very easy to achieve so it should never cause any really problems. IRL its a very good rule in my opinion helping many young players develop in the early stages of there careers.

Yeah, and when, in game you have an average squad age of like 20 or 21 or 22, you're going to have a fair few young players in squad .

Never had a problem with this in my Hearts game, even when at least half of my starting eleven were Brazilian.
