FM 2010 making computer total unuseable during processing

Every time I hit "Continue", the game makes my computer TOTALLY unusable, in that Windows tells me that FM and Firefox (Etc.) are not responding. This is a BRAND new install of Windows and FM2010.

Any ideas?

Computer specs:

Intel i7 920 @4ghz

6 gigs of RAM

Windows 7 64-bit

SSD OCZ Vertex Turbo 32 gig (With 10 gigs free)

Game runs fine, but makes computer run TERRIBLE.

When I previously had the game installed on a regular hard drive, this was NOT the case. Everything ran silky smooth.

Try running a game with less leagues and players loaded and see if that cuts down on the processing time.

The point is that previously, when not installed on an SSD, the game ran perfectly. It's not that the processing takes a long time (It doesnt) it's that it prevent me from using Firefox while processing.

Unfortunately I already have threading selected

It's probably Virtual Memory intensive which is why it's slowing your machine down. Try adjustign teh Virtual Memory settings in windows
