TacticalGenius
Well if it is so crap that it can't even run 3 leagues, I doubt it is DDR2, and I'll almost guarantee it isn't DDR3, but I'm no expert

StevoRobbo
it can run 3 leagues but its a bit slow.... If its that slow on 3 leagues i'd throw it in the bin and start again. You need a new computer.
StevoRobbo
by the sounds of it, its probably a pentium 2 with 512mb ram
pelicanstuff
crucial.com has a memory checking application that can recognise which ram you need.
TacticalGenius
TBH it is the processor that probably needs improvement. It sounds like you have an old, crap PC. Save your money for a new PC rather than waste money on RAM which will probably make very little difference.
stemlfc
That is an extremely poor amount of RAM if you cannot run three leagues. I recently updated from 1GB of RAM to 2GB and I tell you, the difference is heavenly. So much smoother.
swisso
Pfft, i remember trying to run CM 99-00 on 64mb memory. Saved up (something like £30) for a stick of 128mb and it flew along
