On player profiles under transfer there is a heading called monitoring. How do I monitor a player, also I can't see my club name under interested. I'm getting fed up in press conferences when I'm asked the signing was a complete surprise and was it hard to keep under wraps.

Clubs that are monitoring players have them on their shortlist.

yeah but I can't monitor a player, just wondering how I can. I have them on my shortlist but I'm not there.

Have you saved different shortlists?

They might have to be on the "default" one.

I can't say I've checked all my players as I have close to a 1000 on mine but the ones I've looked at I'm included.

Actually on second thought do you get messages about players on your shortlist?

When you add them it highlights the star on the top right of the players page, it might be more to do with the star being highlighted as opposed to being on your shortlist.
