Im starting a new save in premier league, should i be signing 17yr or 18yr olds for future european campaigns, how will the HG work. I cant find the rules anywhere. But if you buy players at the age of 16 and they train with you 3-4 years then they become homegrown. I can't remember the exact age rule before they must train with your team 19 or 21. "A home grown player will be defined as one who, irrespective of his nationality or age, has been registered with any club affiliated to the FA of the FA of Wales for a period, continuous or not, of three entire seasons or 36 months prior to his 21st birthday.
