Internation performance ratings

After watching 'that' match yesterday, and looking at how the England team always seems to underperform, I wondered if it may be time to consider having a way within FM to simiulate the fact that some players simply do not seem capable of performing at the world cup stage? It is not just the English who can be accused of it. The Spanish previously have been notoriously poor in world cups gone by, as have the french previously despite the obvious talent in their squads.

The same can also sometimes apply in reverse, for example Robinho seems to play well for Brazil, however when it comes to club football he seems to get bored and loose interest. A lot of players are also bought off the back of their world cup performances, only to perform poorly afterwards for their new clubs (I remember quite a few Senegal players heading to Liverpool after the 2002 tournament I believe).

EDIT: Obviously, I meant International in the title... Damn these early Monday mornings!
