Not working on windows 7 :(

I got a new laptop today loaded football manager fine and played it for the first time fine, but when i closed it down and then went to go back on it it wont open! Does anybody know why? PLEASE HELP!!!

It is a right kick in the teeth when that happens. They is a way to master it, i didnt do very well at mastering it

Have you tried uninstall/reinstall?

I don't know about anyone else but I just got Windows 7 a couple of weeks ago and it seems that whenever there is a windows update it completely messes with my system. Why do microsoft release updates just to mash up my PC?

You could try installing the latest patch if you haven't already, may not fix this but could help. Otherwise, try ending fm.exe through the task manager and see if you can launch it after that.

I have uninstalled and reinstalling it now! If still doesnt work i will install the latest patch and see if that works.

Weird,because I use WIN7 and the game works perfectly.

ive had it running windows 7 for about 8 months now and its been fine, no problems whatsoever.

Win 7 was a pain for me, the graphics just would not run smoothly initially. Finally got it sorted but can't remember what I've done.

I just reinstalled and this is the message i got when it finished.

might not but just means you have to enter your code and download the game off steam before you can install it but do a total fresh uninstall like in the link posted above then do a fresh install and if it says anything about install complete but the following errors have occurred just uninstall and reboot then do fresh install and dont do nothing with pc while its installing as i had this loads of times when beta testing fm10 and also after fm10 was released it took me a few times to get it installed without errors but being installed now and patched and runs perfectly everytime

Dont think you should have un-installed it. Because when i went to play on it and it said 'football manager is already running' i use to turn my laptop off and then back on and it worked if i used it straight away.

Will it make any difference if i install using steam??

If you still have had no luck, this is probably worth a try.

have you tried installing it to 'steam' instead of offline, because mine wouldn't re-open offline

I am using Win 7 and to be honest, FM10 is now running better than before.
