Angelinho90
Hi! I want to know which players that are considered foreigners in La Liga.... Which countries in europe are cosidered as a foreign country in La liga? Why is Pavle Ninkov considered a foreigner when serbia is an european country? Another thing.... if serbia is considered a foreign country....Why isn't Nicola zigic considered as a foreigner even though he only has the serbian pass????? DivineOne
It's all about EU. For Spanish to be a foreigner one needs to be an EU citizen (+ Switzerland, I believe). Serbia isn't inside the EU.

And if I recall correctly Zigic is a naturalised Spaniard, holding a dual passport, so he's counted as an EU player. Your best bet when buying non-EU foreigners for Spain is to go for the Latin Americans, as they only take 2 years + ~1 month paperwork to get naturalised. It's very handy.
