If you've secured promotion early do potential transfer targets understand?

Or do they still consider you a lower league club until july 1st or whenever? Because my club have secured promotion with games to spare but no extra players seem interested in joining, even though i'm sure that when next season starts there will be some.

If this is right it seems a bit rubbish, after all with the transfer window closed the players wouldn't be playing in the lower division, but it's nice to plan for next season early.

actually, I think there are some extra players interested, but it would be good to know if the game recognises your newly promoted status before the new season actually begins.

i dont think it does recognise your newly promoted status until the date in june when all the leagues are changed and transfer budgets are issued

I don't think players do. It's a great shame and has really hampered me moving into the EPL.

ive always wondered this, it would be nice if someone from SI could give us a definate answer. Personally from my own experience I would say that they dont.

Yes, but I think OP was talking about teams that secure promotion with a few weeks to go - i.e. before bonus time.
