"Hero's welcome for former player" but he never played for us and left 10 years ago

Jezus is this crap annoying.

I'm playing Chelsea and sold Ryan Bertrand about 10 years ago, after he'd not even played 1 single game for me. Now almost 10 years on I still get messages about this **** every time he plays against us. He's not going to get a hero's welcome, and there really is no longer a "good feeling between us".

If you wanna improve the game then you have to improve on this rubbish, it's unrealistic and really annoying..!

I agree - it's daft.

I'm constantly getting messages aboutplayers returning to play against us - youth team players who were released - it's a waste of time.

This should be based on reputation of player when they were at your club and when they return so that only big names get htis messgae - and please only once - no every single season.

This does happen a lot tbh, but the worst thing about it is that these former players always play superbly against me and there is no way to stop it, no matter if they are the worst player on the pitch.

This is quite annoying. Hopefully it'll be fixed in FM11. Personally I only think players on the Favoured Personal, Icons, Legends list should get that message.
