Why can't you offer players contracts 6 months before the end of their deal anymore?

if you are referring to the playing moving on the bosman ruling then that layer you are after has to be in another country 6 months before the contract runs out and not just playing in that country on loan from a team in your country such as you are managing in England but have found a player on loan in spain but that player is on loan from an English club then that player would have to have signed for that spanish team

You can't offer a player contract 6 months before their contract ends at England. I think this rule was implemented by FA to prevent player poaching. Not sure though.

if you are managing in england too that is the case but you can offer a contract with four weeks left on the players contract so just say about june you can offer for them
