Matches not working?

Hi, at the minute my matches are not working, I was playing along yesterday, sorting out tactics etc then went to the pre-match screen (I noticed it took ages to load, it usually just pops up instead of the load screen) anyways, it eventually came up and I sorted out the opposition instructions and team talk, Ready to go kick some ass and chew some bubblegum, but when I went on to play the match the load screen for the match (If you know what I'm talking about) just pops up and doesn't go away, I ctrl+alt+del and find that FM is "Not responding". Oh, also, the first time this happened I ctrl+alt+del and went back into the game, it came up but part of the pitch was missing, the bottom corner of the pitch just was black..

Has anyone had this problem, and if so what do?
