Non capped players winning footballer of the year award

Im sure this has been done before, but I was just wondering if you'd ever seen a player get footballer of the year award who hasnt had any international caps?

Bought Fraizer Campbell for Notts County ready for my first season in the premiership, just hoping he would challenge my current strikers.

Bought for 5.25m from Sunderland.

End of season the guy ended up with 23 goals in 35 matchs(league and cup) with 10 MOM's 8 assists and an average rating of 7.40. To top it off, got awarded the footballer of the year away at end of season too.

Im sure someone would have seen it before, but im just quite surprised and chuffed the guy got this award. Hasnt even had a call up yet!

As another brucey bonus, my 2nd striker Lauri Dalla Valle got young player of the year too.

Closest I've been is my player with 3 caps getting it. Was pretty surprised as we didn't even qualify for Europe.

During my first season in the premiership i had an uncapped midfielder win it. Given hes 29 now and still uncapped I'm thinking hes probally going to stay that way.
