trouble with opening the game

I just installed the 10.3 patch, and now whenever I open the game it says that I need to insert the disk in order to play (I downloaded digitally). Has anyone else had this problem?

You've downloaded & installed the wrong patch.

Not sure how you correct it though, might need a clean install.

Cougar is right, to correct it you just need to download the correct (digital download version) patch and install it. Where did you download from?

I used the esellerate patch link in the thread that has all of the download links for the patch

Are you on the mac and did you purchase from eSellerate? If so, use the link below and download the patch using the button labelled 'Download Patch 10.3.0 (Mac eSellerate)'. The links in the patch thread lead to the same page so if you used on of the wrong buttons, you'll have the wrong patch.

No, I'm on a PC and downloaded from Direct2Drive.

I spent an hour -- again -- to reinstall a game and it works fine, although it's still 10.1 or 10.0 or whatever the default is.

In that case, I believe you need to download using the second button - Download Patch 10.3.0 (PC Digitial).
