Anth77 Posted June 11, 2010 Share Posted June 11, 2010 I recently bought FM2009. A season late but I'm always a little behind the times! When I go to install it the install shield gets to 100% but then it just disappears and nothing alse happens. The same happens however I try it. Whether I go through the setup.exe on the disk, or into File 1 on disk and try that way. I get the same result no matter what. I have tried turning off my antivirus and resident shield. I have also ran a disk check to fix any errors on my hard drive and defragmented the system, nothing seems to work. I am getting very frustrated with this now! All the fixes and comments that I have seen, seem to be regarding error messages of some kind and activation troubles. I can't even get the game to install let alone activate!! I have downloaded and installed Steam to try and get it from there and bypass the disc altogether, but I can't find 09 version on their site only 2010. My laptop is well inside the specs given to run the game so I can't see why there should be any problem. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP! :confused: I really am at the end of my tether here...
