Just a blip?

My team won the Premier league last season (2013/2014), and have just started the next season but I have lost at home to Sunderland and drawn with West Ham, these are two teams I should be beating with ease but my team lacks the spark it had last year.

Any advice on defending a league title, and on how to get them to regain their form?

Is it your second season at the club?

I find a regular change in tactics and training schedules helps.

how many new players have you brought into the squad? new players need time to gel with their teammates, and this might affect performance.

If you have signed a bunch of new players then it will take a while for the team to settle.

Other teams see you as a bigger threat now that you have won the league and play differently against you.

They now give you less space, close you down more and keep more men behind the ball which results in less chances for you if you still play the same way.

Motivation and what brambleten said could also be part of the problem as well.
