They tried it on the Xbox and wasn't happy with the results which makes it seem unlikely that we'll see a console version.

Couldn't imagine fm on PS3. I spend the majority of my time playing on trains and planes, and I guess that's what I love the most, the compatability of it on a laptop.

i actually liked fm on the xbox 360 even though it was scaled down. i would sooner SI work on the faults of the current game and try and enhance on what we already have rather than try and do another console version

they should just make way and let lma do the consoles, if codemasters will ever bring another one out

The problems would be the same, I believe it was down to the user interface, control system and some other console related problems.

It's just the type of game, it's not suited to consoles at all. It's very menu and stats based and that just doesn't make for good console sales

While we are proposing consles I'd love to play fm11 on my gameboy colour I'm joking.

The problem with fm on a console is EA own the general football console thingy.

I got FM08 on the Xbox and have to say that it is rubbish, the game only really comes to life on the PC I think, wise decision by SI to stop making it for consoles.

I love my xbox versions, apart from the fact my FM08 now always freezes

If they could just port over their PC version it would make sense, as it stands though it'd have to be an entirely different game like the psp version and there just isn't enough demand you have to suspect to make it worthwhile. There will have been a reason why LMA stopped being put out, as well as the console versions of fifa manager and others like premier manager and alex fergusons player manager. The consoles just aren't viable at the moment for anyone it seems.
