interesti88
I was wondering when you get far enough in the game, do new regens become labelled the next so and so old regen that has retired or something like that? I hope you guys can understand the question
Cougar2010
No, I don't think they do as the list of potential players listed for labels is set at the start of the game.
samb_95
I think they can. I have a youngster in 2023, labelled as the next Xabi Alonso

Lankylars
No, his question is can newgens far into the game be called "the next [older, famous newgen]". I do not know. It would be cool, for sure. EDIT: Posted a second late.
dustygator
What about similar player to _____? I don't think there are set labels for that or it would ridiculously large. I've seen similar player to James McFadden, who is only a slightly above average premier league player. The next _____ I've only seen used with legends like Ronaldo. Lower Leagues Rule
I have a Similar Player to one of my slightly older Regens, but I am yet to see the Next... in reference to an older Regen.
interesti88
Has anyone seen regens that were descendants of former footballers? I've been looking up former footballers online and notice some of their sons, nephews, or grandsons are playing football throughout the world, so I was wondering if SI notice this too
