Why Can't I sign Paloschi?

Playing on 10.3 and Paloschi is co-owned by Parma and Milan. However, there is no option to offer to purchase, not sure why. He is now on 6 months away from being a Bosman and there is no option to sign. What gives?

I'm guessing because he's co-owned, you can't make offers on co-owned players outside of transfer windows IIRC. Haven't tried to bosman a co-owned player, but it probably has something to do with it.

Trying to figure out if this is a bug or actually something in real life.

I'm not hugely familiar with the rules (google it?), but it's not a bug, I think the teams that co-own the player have first option on him if it's within a certain period of his contract ending.

Then at the end of the contract, both teams will make a bid and the winner signs him. Then you'll have to buy him off the winner.

You need to wait one season i think because of the contract between the two teams. you should be able to approach him in the 2nd or 3rd season.
