Installed sound pack and now my game keeps crashing

Hey guys,

as the title thread say, I downloaded a sound pack a few months ago and haven't really had time to be playing until this past week, but anyway my game keeps crashing now at different dates, never sane specific date. It's become extremely annoying. Is there anyway I can delete this pack and reinstall the orginal sound pack? I can't seem to locate the orginals anywhere in my recycle bin

Fist off, are you sure it's the sound pack making your game crash?

If it is the sound pack replace it with the original sound file. You should have backed up the original sound file before installing the sound pack, and if you didn't, you will have to do a full reinstall of the game (I think).

As dking says, your best best is to probably uninstall the game then install it again. Otherwise, you'd get better help from the author of the soundpack.

Well the sound pack was the only thing that I've added to my game that I think could have caused it to crash. Is there any chance anyone could upload the original sound folder so that I could replace my modified sound pack?

Just unisntall and the game and install it again.

Yeah after I installed the sound pack. I don't want to uninstall the game as I'll lose my saved games won't I?

I'm fairly sure it doesn't remove your save games, you can back them up to be certain though.

Ok, I've installed through steam. Could someone tell me how to uninstall and then reinstall? I'm a bit lost

You should be able to back up your saved games before you uninstall.

Just go to your steam games and delete the FM content, FM will still be in your steam games library but it will be grayed out, just right click it, download and reinstall the game. Easy as that.
