My tactics sorting screen has gone wierd

im not positive this is the right section but i will post in here as it is for my PC

when i go on my tactics screen im not sure what ive pressed but usually it shows the players on the left who you have picked in what position, and then sorts the rest out by position they play e.g GK-LB-CM-CAM-ST

i have tried pressing sort by position and when i do this, this happens

and then when i try to sort it by position all the players positions orders are all muddled up like this

does anyone have a clue what i have done to mess up the order of the players, and how i change it back to its original style or ordering.

btw it happens on new games aswell, as this is a game i started today, the problems started a few days ago

sort by picked, then hold shift + click position.
