Is there anyway you can flag in the editor so that a team on a new game will be getting bought by a new investor?

Go to the chairman that you want to edit. Then go to their non player data section. You should see a tab called board confidence. Hope that help.

one last thing, lol! Im only getting the option to save as rather than save, so when i reload the database the changes have not been put into effect, any reason why?

You need to save it as an editor data file with whatever name you want. Then when you start a new game you can load that editor data file which will change the database based on that file.
