How to play this striker

I play in the BSS as well, usually play a target man on a support duty and a poacher. This guy is, well, crap, but could do a half-decent job in both roles: his finishing is good and his composure is OK while he's got decent strength and heading ability. Problem is that he's really slow.

I'd play him as poacher or a complete forward. He doesn't excel in anything but has good finishing ability.

I would also say poacher.

Although he lacks pace he should get into good positions and can finish.

For BSS, he's probably one of the better strikers in the league! I'd probably play him as a Target Man/Support with a quicker Poacher playing off him.

I would put him in an Target Man/Attack only position, and have the ball go at his head...And then try and find a fast striker to play around him in a slightly more supportive role.

I don't think he's good enough in the air to be a target man. Jumping is an absolute attribute- you still need the same level of it no matter what level you're at. He's below average in the air, so he shouldn't be going for high balls.

Poacher for me, but deep lying forward may work.
