I purchsed Santos' Neymar for Newcastle at the start of my second season for a pricey £7.5m, partly due to hearing how good he becomes from others online. I was rather disappointed with him in both his first and second seasons, mainly being used from the bench. In the off season before the start of the third, I set him on a custom training schedule concentrating on shooting (intensive) but keeping the rest fairly balanced. His stats have improved, but still aren't great, with first touch, dribbling and pace being the only notably good ones. For the new season I thought i'd change the tactics around and set him as 'Target man, Run on to ball' producing a flying start to the season with 7 goals in the first 3 league games. Wondered if others have found this working and/or found other methods to get him scoring? Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
