apart from his aerial ability, he cant defend really, especially at 35 as he isnt is even slower than he is now

I love a good DC/FC combination, crap or not. Classic way to utilise a forward when he starts getting on a bit. I always thought Shearer would have made a decent replacement centre half.

very poor tackling and marking, but i think his good composure and technique would make up for it, provided there is a real defender like carragher beside him

He would only be good for defending corners/crosses, he is too slow and has bad marking and tackling attributes.

I'd be a bit worried about him rounding the keeper

Exogheus Geohagan at Perterborough is 6'7 i rekon, he always shines. And as i said it can depend on the partenership, someone like canavarro would complement an exceedingly big man.

I'm surprised he has such a high jumping rating. IRL he struggles jumping, he's just a giant - that's what helps him... when he jumps he punches people, and he doesn't win all headers... if he's 6ft 8" or whatever, and had that high a jumping stat, then he'd win every single header. He doesn't, so his heading should be 10. He should still be able to jump as high as a smaller player with 20 for jumping...

That's because the ME doesn't use height. They fix that by giving tall players more in jumping stat. So jumping is actually: height + jumping.
